I’ll be giving a talk this week as part of the Yale-Myers Forest Summer Research Seminar Series, titled “Spider Webs and Climate Resilient Forests: A New Tool for Monitoring Biodiversity and Species of Concern.” I’ll cover how spider-web eDNA can be used to track wildlife and forest health, including the Hatch-funded work we’re ramping up this fall with the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, The Nature Conservancy, and NH Fish & Game.

Excited to share that our spider-web eDNA project has been awarded three years of funding through the New Hampshire Agricultural Experiment Station’s Hatch program, starting September 2026. The project builds directly on the pilot work highlighted by the Southeast Land Trust of NH in The Understory.
